For the first time in the history of independent Ukraine: official national recognition for the training of tactical medicine instructors!
ASSOCIATION OF FIRST AID AND TACTICAL MEDICINE OPERATORS AND INSTRUCTORS, in strategic alliance with the UKRAINIAN MILITARY MEDICAL ACADEMY and with the participation of the NATIONAL AGENCY FOR QUALIFICATIONS, with the comprehensive support of the OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT OF UKRAINE and personally by DEPUTY PRIME MINISTER IRYNA VERESHCHUK, have achieved an unprecedented breakthrough in the field of medical education and training.
On 8 August 2025, an event took place that changed the landscape of the Ukrainian security system: the National Agency for Qualifications officially recognised the Ukrainian Military Medical Academy as a Qualification Centre authorised to assess and confirm the professional qualification of ‘Tactical Medicine Instructor’.
This historic decision creates Ukraine’s first state mechanism for the official recognition of professional competence in the field of tactical medicine — regardless of whether this knowledge was acquired through formal education, on the battlefield, during intensive training, or as a result of informal or informal learning.
The introduction of a single national standard for training tactical medicine instructors is a vital step for a country in a state of full-scale war. It not only increases the combat capability and survivability of the Ukrainian military, but also strengthens the civil defense system as a whole.
For the first time! From now on! In Ukraine! — a single state standard for training instructors in tactical medicine is emerging, which meets the realities of war and the needs of the Ukrainian military. This is not just certification — it is state recognition of the competence of those who save lives on the front lines.
The certificate is valid until August 2030. The accreditation record is officially entered in the Register of Qualifications under No. 593.
